Valorie has Valor - Strength

And believe me I have used my name to get through life's wild ride. I hold my California Life Teaching Credential and started my career as an educator. I entered the field of Public Relations and Marketing for a performing arts theater and a recovery facility. Most recently, I have been in the area of Development/ Fundraising. I have worked for the Lung Association, San Diego Opera, Children's Hospital, UCSD Medical Center and USD School of Law.

I have always had an affinity for special events. I've had an opportunity to coordinate elegant Charity Galas/Balls to Bike Treks, Reunions to Runs - in castles and mansions to backwoods...if it is an event, I've handled it.

My Passion is Art. I produce gallery quality photographic pencil drawings. I have chosen "the Elders" whose eyes speak of the wisdom of their years. The portraits and other mediums of art grace the home in every area.

Cook... It is the way I relax and share nourishment with guests. I have been told my dishes are incredible. Specialties include quiche, biscuits, cheese blintz egg souffle, hash browns, corn bread, omelets, fresh Salsa de Pico, peach cobbler and award winning pumpkin pie and "secret sauce" - family recipes and of course from scratch.
